Lulette dearest,
I fear you have discovered by now that I am the world's worst correspondent - but I know you forgive me - and I hope Jean does. I did get a letter off to her a few days ago. I read with joy that the Missouri is back, so suppose that means that Harry is at home.
My plan to go to S. America is still in the balance as Warren may be sent home at any time. Meanwhile I'm having some dental reconstruction work done which has kept me occupied.
I am glad to know that your father is enjoying life. He is certainly wonderful, so unselfish and resourceful. Please give him my love and tell him I wish he would write to me.
