moved back home. However she cannot be alone any longer & a practical nurse & a cook must be found who will stand by her the rest of her days. This will not be easy as she has always been independent and had not had a maid for years until she married my Father. We must try it as she will only be happy when she is at home. 

She has not suffered any ill effects either in speech, face or gait but her memory is unreliable & she does not know what has happened to her. Of course she has never been in a hospital in her life but she is taking it well, all things considered.

I have been with her every day this past week since she was moved, in order to see that she lacked for nothing & got the best of care. Her friends the Betts drop in & Mrs. Hoffman is
