Dear Commander Seymour:

Now it is my turn to apologize for a tardy reply. I have just come back from a two week stay in Europe and it has taken me awhile to get settled.

Thank you very much for the generous loan of material on Bessie Potter Vonnoh. The article and two catalogues you sent contain useful bits of information and I have taken the liberty of making xerox [[Xerox]] copies for my own reference before returning them to you. I read the selection of letters with interest and would like to see more, particularly those -- if any exist -- in which BPV discusses specific works of sculpture, and the subject of foundries or museums. I am also very interested in seeing any photographs you might have of BPV, or her work. I am looking for interesting ( and unpublished ) pictures to go with the article. Any photographs you might send would of course be credited to you if used and safely returned. I would also be more than happy to reimburse you for whatever xeroxing [[Xeroxing]] costs you might incur in making letters available to me. I wish I could see the original correspondence but unfortunately my plans don't include a trip to the West Coast until next summer, and I hope to have the article published before then.

Once again, thank you very much for your help and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Joel Rosenkranz
