The Recti muscles (internal) origins at the Sternum & extending down the the space within the two Linea Semiluminarii inserted in the pubis 
Use to flip the body on the Pelvis and fix the Sternum for the stronger actions of the muscles of the neck. 

Observation: they contribute in forming the undulations on the abdomen in the living subject.

The Pectoral Muscles

Origin on the anterior end of the Clavicle for about one third its length, the whole length of the sternum and a portion of the cartillaginous part of the ribs below the Sternum - its fibres running in radii transversely and inserted in the os humeros or arm bone in the groove that lodges the long bone head of the biceps - its forms the inner fold of the armpit

Its use to move the arm on the clavicle in various directions, the principal support to the body when suspended by the arms - 

(Observations: this is the muscle that entirely forms the breasts of paps, hence in raising the arm the pap is also raised with it,,
