Serrattus Major

Serrattus major anticus muscle [[strikethrough]] radiated [[/strikethrough]]

Origin from the 9 inferior ribs - running up in two portions
the lower one inserted in the inferior angle of the scapula (under the Latissima dorsi) the upper portion inserted in the anterior edge of the scapula for its whole length 

Use to rotate the Scapula, elevate it &c. and to support in a fixed position for various purposes.
