New Art Gallery Opens
Parish Gallery is designed to show the viewing public the many disciplines of visual arts and their related concepts.
Works by contemporary artists range in mediums including acrylic, oil, wood, bronze, marble sculpture, pottery, glass, photography, works on paper and installations. All skill levels are unique in individuality.
The gallery targets affordable art for the beginning collector through the experienced art buyer.
The owner, Norman Parrish, is an oil painter and has been involved in art for over 30 years. This year's exhibits will feature many Chicago artists with whom Parish has been associated in the past.
Currently, the artists being shown at Parish Gallery are: Ausbra Ford, sculpture; Wadsworth A. Jarrell, acrylics; Dikki Van Helsland, batiks; Patience Nelson-Cole, lino and acrylics; and Norman Parish, oils.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Grand Opening is on Tuesday, June 25, 1991 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For additional information contact Gwen Reagan, Executive Director, (301) 258-1728 or (301) 990-8178.
