LEO CASTELLI

7 July, 1964

Dear Mr. Castelli,

Jasper walked in yesterday handsome and healthy. He seemedto be very relaxed and tan and joked about going back to Tokyo. He is a bit worried that nothing is being done for his shows, in Pasadena and the one he wants in Japan. You should write and reassure him.

I spoke to Lee. She is dismayed at the idea of a show in Octorber but says that if you and Ileana could hold off until the winter, December or January, she would have a larger selection for you. She is working hard at the studio.

I am sending the Trapeze to Dwan. There is only one little complication, and that is they are closing in two weeks and won't open until October 1st. John asked to keep the painting until the new year.

I have made a list of the Stellas for Dayton:
GEZIRA ILEAVA SONNABEND FEZ II TETUAN I VALPARAISO GREEN SKETCH

Let me know immediately if this is O.K as I will hold off sending them a list until I hear from you.

Hans called and is fine. He is going to drop by to see me. Roy is in sighing posters as we have sold almost all of 'Crack'. The lady from the Southampton is veritalble pest. She keeps bothering me for posters etc... She id interested in the Trapeze for a Texas client and wants it for $12,000.00. I told her it had to go to California.

Jasper called today. Do you know anything about a print cabinet. He seemed to think that he was getting one from Noah Goldowsky or something. Please let me know and I will trace it down.

Mr. Del Junco is working on the Scull Map for Di Tella. He jumped on it with glee, happy to have a chance to do you a favor.

We got a few small checks in. Kraushar will be in soon. Am waiting for the London shipment.

All is fine here. I hope you and Toiny and Bébé are all eating and sleeping and not worrying and having a dreamy relaxed time.
