LEO CASTELLI

WEDNESDAY
15 July, 1964

Dear Mr. Castelli,

I am enclosing a letter form Nancy re MONEY. I think that with the Ganz money in, we will have that to help us through September. As you now know we have received the Power money.

First to answer in order your questions.

1) No word from Harold Kaye, nor has Mr. Futterman. When we do hear instructions will be carried out.

2) The Noland has not been found. I spoke to Santini, told them to get on the ball and find the painting and that we were going to accept no financial responsibility as the whole thing is their fault.

3) I am afraid I already had shipped Trapeze off right after your letter before I knew about the Oct 1 deal.

4) LIFE is out 4 lovely pages coming separately. No New Yorker yet.

5) I have not been able to reach Calvin Tomkins.

6) *No answer as of yet from Mrs. Lee re Calander. Also no payment on the JJ. drawing.

7) Bob Mayer is a terrible pest. He has been bugging me out of my mind. I have taken the insurance matter as far as I can from this end. Also he wants to know about the possible exchange. I very subtly asked for some money on the RR. he has but got no where with him. He has only reserved the plexiglas Landschafe. Ivan did not give him a price I don't think. We were waiting for you to establish one. I would say between $900.00 and $1,200.00. He is also wondering why Ileana never sent him his Pistoletto. Apparently Dwan sent him RR's Construction the one we sent them at $8,000.00. He wants to know from you whether they should get it fro their collection. (915 Sheridan Road, Winnetka, Ill.)

8) I have been speaking to Philip G. from Abrams. The books will be ready the end of this week. We will get them next week.

9) Kelleher has been informed, was very enthusiastic and I sent the drawing out to Princeton on Approval yesterday , at the same price ($ 2,500.00 less 10%)
