Mrs. Ileana Sonnabend
39 Quai Des Grands Augustins
Paris VI, France

Dear Ileana:

I was glad to hear from you at last and thank you for your letter. Unfortunately, you have left several important questions unanswered:

1. Rosa Esman has told me you asked her to let me know you definitely wish to show the exhibition at your gallery in Paris. When would you like to do this?

2. What is the status of the tentative tour of France you were exploring? (Our last word from you was that someone in Nice was interested and that La Cedille Qui Sourit in Vaucluse probably wanted the exhibition after Paris.) As you can imagine, there have been many developments since February, when I asked for confirmation of your plans with regard to Italy, and the demand from USIA and others is now so great, that if you still wish to proceed with a tour of Italy, you should coordinate Italian and French bookings so the same set of prints can be used for both countries.

3. To whom in The Netherlands did you offer the exhibition? With what result?

I am enclosing the most recent itinerary of the exhibition. As you can see, we need additional information about all of the proposed bookings you told us of by telephone in February.
