Dear Luise:

Thank you for the check and the statement.

Hope all goes well and that you are looking forward to a pleasant spring after that very harsh winterthat we have been hearing of you having back east.

All is going well on this end. Hope to have a painting for the Gallery soon. I have accomplished quite a bit of work, which is all in various degrees of progress. Am now beginning to concentrate on one or two pieces.

Am sending the Gallery some material pertaining to the book, so as to keep you abreast of our progress.

We recieved a note from Dr. Kayden in regards to his visit to Seattle. By now he has our invitation inviting him to call us when he arrives. We would like to see him, but this will depend on his schedule which, we know is very tight.

We are pleased that the Birmingham Museum of Art has acquired our painting BUILDERS #1, 1971. As requested, Mr. Weeks will recieve a statement in regards to the painting.

Again, thanks for everything and hello to Charles and Chris.

Regards,
