TERRY DINTENFASS, INC. 18 east 67th st. - new york, n.y. 10021 - rhinelander 4-1580

25 July 1973

Dear Jake:

I'm really sorry I've been so busy and that you've had to wait for your statement which is enclosed. We have spoken to Tougaloo College about payment for BUILDERS #2 and it should be forthcoming.

The gallery has purchased some of your STRUGGLE paintings formerly in a private collection. I am having difficulty with the titles and hope you can help me out. I need the titles for STRUGGLE #'s 12 and 22 and the number and title for a horizontal painting depicting cannons with I think some trees or trunks of trees. Sorry to bother you about this, but I like to be exact.

It was good to see you and Gwen and I'm glad you had a good time in Barbados. I enjoyed receiving your card.

Both Terry and I send our wishes for the summer.

I almost forgot - the dates of your show will be October 16 to November 3, 1973. As soon as you know the size of the frame or frames I should order, please let me know. I have written the various owners about borrowing your paintings so we should have a very good exhibition.

Best,
Luise
