Dear Mr. Grow:
This will confirm our telephone conversation of May 29th, during which I requested that Robert Indiana's The Bridge be sent here on approval.

In the event the painting is acquired, we would request that, in addition to the 10 per cent museum discount which you have agreed to grant, you would also deduct the packing and shipping charges from the purchase price of $7,500. If the picture is not purchased, we agree to pay the shipping charges. We understand that your insurance will cover the picture while in transit and here on approval.

Depending upon how soon you can ship the painting to us, we should like to present it at either the June 17th or June 29th meeting of the Joint Museum Collections Committee. Please send it by Railway Express with a declared valuation of $550.

Thanking you in advance for your cooperation, I am
Sincerely yours,
Robert D. Kinsman
