1. It is agreed that Alfred Schmela will present a one-man exhibition in the Galerie Alfred Schmela in Dusseldorf of the ten "Numbers" paintings of Robert Indiana [[strikethrough]] in the spring of 1966. 1966 [[/strikethrough]] within a reasonable time of their receipt. STABLE/ SHIPPING IT IS AGREED THAT TH[[strikethrough]]E[[/strikethrough]]AT ALFRED SCHMELA
It is further agreed that Alfred Schmela may, at his own discretion, arrange, sponsor or cause to happen whatever additional gallery and/or musuem shows of the same paintings that he sees fit within Europe. [[/strikethrough]]& THAT THE STABLE GALLERY WAIVES ANY PARTICULAR CLAIMS ON THE PAINTINGS FOR THE STABLE DURATION OF ONE YEAR IS THAT THESE MAY BE FACICNARO[[/strikethrough]]
It is further agreed that the five not bought by Herr Schmela ten "Number" paintings may be held by Alfred Schmela in Europe for the period of [one year] from the date of receipt. It is also agreed that upon the expiration of [[strikethrough]] time [[/strikethrough]] this time Alfred Schmela will return whatever unsold paintings remain. OTHER THAN HIS OWN TWO.
It is agreed that Alfred Schmela purchases two PAINTINGS AS THE SIGNING OF THIS CONTACT. (PAYMENT?) IT IS AGREED THAT THE GALLERY WILL [[strikethrough]] SEE BE A [[/strikethrough]]SEE THAT THE PAINTINGS ARE [[strikethrough]] PROPERLY CRATED AND SHIPPED AIR FREIGHT[[/strikethrough]] LEAVE NEW YORK PER HERR SCHMEL'S OWN ARRANGEMENTS AND EXPENSE.
3. IT IS AGREED THAT THE ARTIST ROBERT INDIANA WILL [[strikethrough]] FINISHING TOUCHING UP [[/strikethrough]] PUT THE PAINTINGS INTO GOOD ORDER  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND THAT THEY WILL LEAVE
