The Exile, by EDWARD CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS, a classical Italian drama, is the work of Edward Christopher Williams, head of the Department of Romance Languages of Howard University. Mr. Williams was formerly librarian of the Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, Principal of the Dunbar High School of Washington, D. C., and is now Librarian of the Howard University Library as well as head of the Language Department, Mr. Williams is a son-in-law of the distinguished novelist, Charles Waddell Chestnut, author of "The House Behind the Cedars," "The Marrow of Tradition," and other books.
