WOMEN SCULPTORS TO EXHIBIT
The closing event in our series of art exhibits will be a showing of 30 photographs of works in sculpture by the Sculpture Division of the National Association of Women Artists. These handsome photographs make up a travelling exhibit to be sent to museums here and abroad. We are honored to be host to the first exhibition of this project. 
Louise Nevelson, considered one of the leading women sculptors of our times, will speak at a PREVIEW AND RECEPTION for WCC members, the artists and their friends on

THE POLICE DEPARTMENT - ITS PROBLEMS AND ITS PROGRAM
Arresting a drunken driver, guarding a foreign diplomat, solving a burglary, warding off a juvenile "gang war"-this is all part of a day's work for New York City's police force. 24 hours a day over 24,000 policeman are patrolling 6,000 miles of streets to make it possible for peaceable New Yorkers to go about their business unmolested by the criminal and irresponsible minority. 
For a report on this diverse operation, with emphasis on problems of traffic safety and juvenile delinquency, the Women's City Club is honored to present

Commissioner of Police 
Mr. Kennedy has served New York City for some 30 years. Starting as a patrolman, he rose to the rank of Chief Inspector, earning a law degree on the way, and assumed his present past in 1955.
