Dear Mr. Wagstaff:

I understand from Susanne Hilberry that you have agreed to lend your sculpture, Throne, and an untitled painting (c. 1953; Study for Louisenberg Series) to a Tony Smith Exhibition to be held at the Hilberry Gallery from February 5 to March 5, 1977. This is to confirm that, based on your approval, we will send these works which are currently on loan to the Institute to this show. Insurance during transit and in the exhibition period will be covered by Susanne, whereas we will maintain insurance while these works are in the museum.

Please let me know if for any reason you are not in agreement with these arrangements.

Yours sincerely,

Mary Jane Jacob
