in restraining my eldest brother Frank from joining the ranks although he yet a boy.  The same wave of preparedness which as recently swept over our country then agitated the mind of our people.  Military schools sprang into existence and it was not long before we three boys were packed off to the Star Military Academy at Yonkers N.Y.
