What a craze there was for Water Cures in those middle sixties! I became very expert with my wheel chair. In the evenings there were concerts and lectures in the big parlours on the first floor surrounding the large central office paved with black and white marble tiles. Our rooms were on the second floor the hall terminating in a broad stair way that descended to the office. It was my pleasure to manipulate my big wheel chair about this broad hall and I had the ingenious idea one evening of seeing how near the top of the first step I could run the back wheel without really going over.
