Mr. Frank McConnell
Patton Hotel
Rapid City, South Dakota

Dear Frank:

Judge N. B. Johnson has just appointed me as General Chairman of the National Convention of the N.C.A.I. to be held at Rapid City, South Dakota, September 21-24.

I have already heard of the splendid work you and your committee are doing in making arrangements for the convention and delegates.

In order to co-ordinate the arrangements and entertainment you may have arranged with the General Program for the four days of the convention; it would be appreciated if you would write me as soon as possible of the plans you and your committee have already made.

We hope that you and your committee will continue the good work because the success of the convention is dependent a great deal on you. In order that there may not be duplication in effort, I am formally designating you as the Chairman of the Committee on Arrangements and Entertainment. I am particularly interested in knowing the rooms which will be available for the committee and general sessions of the convention. Also what definite commitments have been made for entertainment on any specific days or evenings of the convention?

Thanking you kindly for the continued cooperation and for an early reply to this letter, I am

Sincerely yours,

Bob
