Mr. George N. Adams
Star Route 1, Box 165
Shelton, Washington

My dear Mr. Adams:

This is a general letter I am sending to all members of the Executive Committee, and to all officers with whom I have not already had considerable correspondence relative to the convention to held at Rapid City on September the 21st through the 24th. It is for the purpose of urging that you make plans to attend the convention, if it is at all possible for you to do so. Someday I hope we have funds adequate to pay all travel expenses of our officers and Executive Committee to our annual conventions, but so far we do not have funds enough to do this. We will have to ask again that you come at your own expense or as delegates from your tribe.

We would like for all the officers and members of the Executive committee to arrive in time to go into executive session on the morning of the 21st to consider business of the organization. A number of important matters will need to be discussed and decided upon before being presented on the floor of the convention.

We earnestly hope that you are making plans to be in Rapid City. From reports which I have received it looks as if we are going to have a very successful convention session. We need your presence at the convention to assure that the organization continues to move forward with its work.

Sincerely yours,

Ruth M. Bronson
Executive Secretary
