States he applied for some blank Monthly Ration Reports and is unable to make Report for June till he gets them. That he applied for permission to employ a clerk and as yet has received no authority. Also that he received an Order to turn over certain buildings & c.

Respectfully returned with copy of order forwarded to Major Stickney. Another order was forwarded by mistake, and this which is the only one to be recognized should have been sent thro Col. Brady. The order for employment of a clerk has already been sent. There are no "Monthly Ration returns" A Tri Monthly Report sh'd be forwarded and that is to be written.

Respectfully returned. Blank monthly reports have been sent you (not blank ration returns). The order for employing a clerk has been sent you. Copy of S.O. No.82 Par II in relation to buildings, has been sent you direct without passing thro these Hd. Qrs. by mistake.

The buildings were purchased by the Friends Freedmens Aid Association and on land of the Wayne female Seminary. They will be turned over to Thomas Conard or other proper Agent of said society when demanded.
