Commissioner N.C. July 21st 1866 with request that it be so altered as to cover the time when he made his visit to Warrenton. States that his regular appointment in Warrenton an for alternate Thursdays - that he went on the 19th as not to disappoint the people - that he did not receive this order till the 24th.

Respectfully returned. The enclosed Order is all that is necessary to collect your actual cost of transportation from the Q.M. Dept.

States that he forwarded to Hd Qrs Central Dist Vocher No.22 Acct of W.W. Parker for office rent at Rocky Mount for the month of May 1866. Requests that the money be collected and sent to Lieut J.F. Allison, Rocky Mount.

Respectfully returned. These Vouchers were presented to the Disbursing Officer two or three times for payment but he had no funds on hand to pay them. As soon as I can get the money I will send it to Lieut Allison as desired.

Makes request that Dr Chase be directed to make requisition for and issue all clothing and Sanitary Stores that may be needed at his Hospital. The Asst. Supt. has done this but, as he has nothing to do with the issuing of it, he ought not to be held responsible for it.
