Respectfully returned - Enclosing the $25 Twenty five dollars. required. I wrote to Mr Loeb the last of August and gave my excuse for not sending it before and promising him he should

have it after I got my pay 1st Sept after I did get it. I wrote to him to draw on me at sight through Adams Express and I would pay all expenses since when I have not a line from him and presumed he was not anxious about it as besides his pension he keeps a Public House and holds quite a lucrative Office in the City of Camden. but have held the money in readiness to pay the demand, not using it when I could have done so to my personal convenience.

Requests permission to send Ned and Jane Cox blind freed children to some hospital and transportations for the same to such place as directed to send them. Respectfully forwarded to Capt Jacob F. Chur A.A.A.G. for the action of the Asst. Com. The superintendent is of the opinion that these Blind freed [[strikethrough]] people [[/strikethrough]] children should be provided for by the county Authorities where they belong in accordance with Gen. Howards Circular No. 10. Current series as they were not in a "regularly organized Hospital" or "orphan Asylum" for refugee and freedmen at the time said Circular was promulgated.
