RESOLUTION NO. 2

BE IT RESOLVED that the National Congress of American Indians endorses the various bills now pending providing for the addition of new lands to Indian reservations, including H. R. 2432 to restore to the Colville Reservation lands previously opened and S. 1718 for the Summit Lake Reservation; H. R. 3843 for Stockbridge Community; H. R. 4321 for Goshute Reservation; and H. R. 8887 for the Seminole Reservation; also H. R. 5099, providing for consolidation of heirship tracts, if amended as requested by the NCAI to require Indian consent to the disposition of Indian land.

Mr. Madrano moved that Resolution No. 2 be adopted. Motion was seconded by Mr. Vizenor. Motion was agreed to.
