Resolution No. 49 - continued

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the National Congress of American Indians use its influence [[strikethrough]] and its power [[/strikethrough]] in an effort to secure for the said tribe herein mentioned the passage of the said H.R 2432 [[strikethrough]] in its final conclusion [[/strikethrough]] and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be mailed to the appropriate committees of the United States Senate, the House of Representatives, the Secretary of Interior, the Commissioner of Indian Affairs and to any other appropriate agencies whose functions may be germane [[strikethrough]] d [[/strikethrough]] to the problem in question.

Mr. Madrano moved that Resolution No. 49 be adopted. Motion was seconded by Mrs. Leona Hayes. Motion was agreed to.
