FAMOUS PAINTERS
TO TEACH AT ACADEMY

Four celebrated American artists, it was reported last night, have been engaged as instructors for the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

The additions to the faculty who will enter upon their duties next season, according to the report, are Philip L. Hale, of Boston; J. Tlden Weir, of New York, famous as a landscape artist; Miss violet Oakley, of this city, who won fame from her decorations in the State Capitol as Harrisburg, and Emil Carlsen, a Swedish artist, living in New York.

It is rumored that there will be other changes in the faculty.
