MLK JR Drive is still a challenge. One house is different. At Mom Mae's, I left polaroids for her of her wonderful flower-filled porch. She has a screen in both front sections. We have not yet met. I love her plants! Hers are really different. She is in her 80's. I'll try to get my nerve up and call her for an appointment. I do have her number. The remaining houses have the meanest looking group of black people I've seen since Newark! Pray for me. I'm 60 years old and too old to get shot.

This is dedicated to those of you who have no idea of what I'm doing and have been doing between medical emergencies. I use a lot of gas and travel alone. All my friends work. Thank you for reading this. For the emotional support, I thank the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.
