Dear Father

Your last reached me yesterday and your previous letter I found on my return from Chicago. I am glad to hear of Frankie' progress and Bessie too gives good accounts of him. I always had a feeling that he would come around alright as he grew older. He has been too much pitied in the Lyman family and he takes too much interest in every thing to keep him away from other people. I think there will be a great change in him within the next year or two. He will also apreciate by and by what he can learn from his grandfather.
