My dear Wores—

I was delighted to receive your letter and much surprised to hear of you being in San Francisco and also surprised to hear of Corwin being with you.  It surely [[strikethrough]] with [[/strikethrough]] will be pleasant to find old friends in a strang [[strange]] city?

I received [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] a telegram yesterday from the art department at San Francisco asking me to serve on the Jury of awards which is to meet there May the 3rd which I have accepted.  Also Mr Meakin from here will be on the Jury.  We will probably
