and wrenched the muscles of my leg but a good deal of hot watter and ointment brought got me out in a few days but I am still a little bit stif. Aunt Mollie too was laid up again for a few days but now every thing goes smoothly. Aunt Mollie wishes me also to thank you for the nice present you sent her. 

I wonder if you and Frank are still thinking of California - I remember talking to your sister about your planes and I noticed that did not seem to like it at all. I am affraid that many of your friends will be displeased to hear of your leaving Boston. I don't remember whether I thanked you for the last three books you sent me. I read them aloud to Aunt Mollie and we find them very interesting.
