It is cool & pleasant here now, & we shall miss living away, as the baby is so well, but the rest of us have not much appetite.   

Give my love to everybody at home & tell them to take care of you. You will see the Dixwells soon no doubt- Mary will depend on seeing you at once - for you have not met since Annie's death.  Addio dear Papa - Waddy say - don't forget us & remember how happy your daughter

Dear Papa

This will be my last letter to you I am again on this side of the ocean. I cannot bear to think that you are going. I shall look for the arrival & you must write a line from the steamer when you get home- I send this to Charing Cross & enclose a letter from Jackson. Please send me again his address - I never
