Mr. Robert L. Manning
Curator
Finch College Museum
62 East 78 Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Manning,

To introduce my work to you, I am enclosing a group of 31 slides which you may view at your leisure, accompanied by a resume of my accomplishments to date, with a thought on your part, for possible exhibition inclusion at Finch.

By the way, I am a painter who is highly enthusiastic about drawing and collage. Drawings are to art what letters are to literature, I really love them.

Thus far I have had 19 solo exhibits in N.Y.; Boston; L.A.; and elsewhere, as well as inclusion in groups shows throughout the U.S.A. & Europe and I am included in Museum and private collections of note.

I am represented by the David Stuart Art Galleries of L.A. where I am exhibited Jan. 31 - Feb 26, 1966, excellently received, in Artforum, and my last exhibit in N.Y. was at the Amel Gallery during the Spring '65. I had an highly successful show there of my "THE CREATION" series (non-biblical/non-literary) which consisted of 7 large panels 4' x 5' each, most of them were sold to leading collectors of the international social set. One of the CREATION series was shown again at YALE last June '67 when the distinguished Benjamin collection was open to the public.

Periodic exposure is very important for an artist. It would be lovely if you respond in a positive way to my work.

I am enclosing return postage for the slides.

Thank you for attention to the above.

Hoping I may hear from you, whenever it is most convenient for you to write.

Sincerely yours,

Esther G. Rolick
