Dear Mr. Klank:

We are planning what promises to be an exciting major show of works by James Brooks. We are working in close collaboration with him, and the Martha Jackson Gallery, of course. It will consist of about 80 works in various media, including some of his less well-known graphics.

The dates for the exhibition here are: April 29 - June 15, 1975. If you are interested, it could be made available to you for the summer months. It is scheduled to be shown at Cranbrook in September.

I want to give you first refusal on this because there is great interest already, and it will travel to only a few museums. May we know your decision as soon as possible?

Thank you, and good wishes.

Cordially yours,

Elayne H. Varian
