Dear Bob,

Enclosed is a letter from Harper's Bazaar, and another one with a copy of the caption for your photograph stapled to it. This last one I would like you to sign and send on directly to Geri Trotta. Do it right away, so that they can proceed and have this photograph appear in their September number.

This is all for the moment, and as you know, I'm delighted at the prospect of seeing you and Jap down there the week after next.

Love to both of you,

Caption: Painter Robert Rauschenberg, dander Merce Cunningham and composer John Cage often appear together in unique concerts-- a combination of spontaneous images, movements, and controlled cacophony produced by phonographs, piano and improvised instruments in what Cage calls a cocktail mixture of sounds.
