"Arte de América y España"

4 East 77 Street
NEW YORK, N.Y., U.S.A.

N/GR/ja.

Dear Mr. Rauschenberg,

We have just closed the painting, drawing and engraving exposition in Bilbao -once again together- of "Art from America and Spain", and in ending this exposition, we want to thank you for the cooperation which you have given it.

We suppose that you have heard of the success which this undertaking has enjoyed in Madrid and Barcelona, as well as in the rest of the other cities in Europe where the exposition was presented. As testimony of this, we have sent you a resume of the response from the critics from each of the cities visited.

Happy to have been able to lend this service to world culture and especially to American culture, we thank you once again for your help; since the success of the exposition was made possible by the quality of the works presented.

Very truly yours,
Gregorio Marañón
