An exhibition of the discarded and dislodged materials of our environment- broken bottles, crushed cans, burned crates, feathers, boots, circuit boards, toys, torn posters, styrofoam, sequins, concrete, and more- resolved and resurrected into works of art.

Exhibit Opens September 16
"Out of Context" opens at the Thorpe Gallery with a reception on Sunday, September 16, between one and four p.m. The exhibit continues Thursdays through Sundays, from one to four in the afternoon until October 21. Admission is free.

Special Event
You are invited to hear curator Rosalie Schwartz talk about he exhibit on Sunday, September 23, at 3 p.m. "Hats, Bottles, and Bones", a short film by Martha Edelheit featuring Sari Dienes and her work will be shown. Free admission.
