a harp, etc. In addition, there are several images relating to sporting or athletic events - a bullfight, below the kissing couple on the left side (figs. 2, 5), two photographs of a fist and a forearm (identified as Correct Fist and Incorrect), a strip showing a linesman giving his signals, and a baseball pitcher, all on the right side of the box (figs. 1, 6) - and a number of personal and possibly nostalgic and even patriotic images - various snapshots, mostly clustered at the centres of the side panels, and, on the right side (figs. 6), a small American flag and a painted field with a lone star, perhaps alluding to Texas, Rauschenberg's native State 12. Finally, there is one other Christian image to accompany the Last Supper, and two that may possess Biblical  or religious connotations. Immediately aboe the kissing couple, on the left side of the box (figs 2, 5), is
