I am desirous of obtaining a position among the Freedmen,  either as a teacher or as agent or any thing that will pay. I have been for some years engaged in teaching and for the last two years Principal of Waterloo Academy. My wife, preceptress of the same institution, is also an old, experienced teacher and is also dersirous of a position as a teacher. I can furnish any recommendation you may wish from the Governor, from the Board of Trustees of this Institution, and from other persons. If I could get a position I would like to
