Solicits that Adelbert S. Frink of 1st Minnesota Battery detailed by S.O. No 268. dated May 31st 1865 be sent to his command in order to be mustered of the service as his Battery has received orders to proceed to the state for that purpous.

Respectfully forwarded  If Private Frink can not be retained in the service as clerk for Major Osborne Asst Commissioner for Ala. this application is approved. No appropriation having been made this bureau, Asst Commissioners are compelled to secure the services of competent enlisted men for clerks
