I enclose an extract from a letter which I have just received from Capt Ketchum of my staff to whom I have entrusted the charge of matters pertaining to the bureau of Savannah. I am well assured that there are many who will come to you with all sorts of misrepresentations against the agents of the bureau in South Carolina & Georgia.
