I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication dated Aug' 10th 1865, in response to the letter which I had the honor of addressing to you August 7th 1865. In accordance with your suggestion as therein contained, I respectfully ask that instructions may be issued to the following named officers, to the effect that they assume immediate charge of all matters pertaining to this Bureau in the limits of the Districts or Posts in which they respectively exercise command. viz.
