Esther McCoy is the author of "Five California Architects," "Richard Neutra," and "Modern California Houses" -- the last a book on Case Study Houses of Arts & Architecture. She was an associate editor for some years of Arts & Architecture, is now a contributing editor to the Italian architectural journals Lotus and Zodiac, and has contributed to the Architectural Forum. She writes frequently on young architects, and in 1964 received a Ford Foundation grant [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] to study the work of younger architects in the U.S. She has written catalogues for a number of exhibitions of architecture, the latest [[strikethrough]] was [[/strikethrough]] "Ten Italian Architects" for the Los Angeles County Museum. She is a lecturer at the UCLA School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and was recently made an Honorary Associate of the Southern California Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
