Sylvia's things. Bob can stow it away & even use paints in his house. Anything needed can be got here - especialy with extra money that has come. As this of course is about 10 days later - anything you do is most greatly appreciated - as I said before - is perfectly okay - it doesn't matter, as I imagine it's likely been sent by now. (I mentioned separate packages only because Sylvia had mentioned that sometimes there's a size limit & more than one package might be better.) Anyway you do it - fine. but really if nothing's gone don't bother except for Sylvia's. Hardy is right about paints, etc. I think, and Bob can tuck it all away in his house. As for summer clothes - will worry about it later. Have a cotton skirt & blouses with me among all the other debris - that's all it is in that big bag - sigh.

Are you coming one of these days? Had wonderful snails other night for the first time. Mike's friend from boat is reason to get out & around more now. Jeude des Pommes [[Jeu de Paume]] other day for Impressionists. Someone threw a bomb in a bar - right next to my old hotel - the other night trying to assassinate someone. The jolt was felt by everyone in Latin Quarter. An Algerian. Glad as hell I moved out of the place. Luckily the Max Crust's on other side unharmed. (Miller says in "Tropic of Can." - Rue L'Echaude' (the street) is seething" - indeed. After 4 days of no eating? am going on a binge. Gretchen & I
