Professor Chiura Obata
6329 San Bonita Avenue
St. Louis, Mo.

Dear Professor Obata:

I was glad to get your letter of June 10. I certainly hope that something develops for you in the St. Louis area. I think it might be wise for you to communicate with Mrs. Whitridge, since Dr. Deutsch has written her a very fine letter about you. I shall certainly make an opportunity of talking to Dr. Deutsch about your case again, and tell him of the circumstances which forced you to leave the camp.

I look forward to seeing the sketches that you are making for your book, and shall be glad to give you any advice and help that I can. But, as I told you, the publishing situation during the war period is very precarious.

With cordial regards,

Sincerely yours,
Dorothy S. Thomas
