Dear Spinky:  I went to Duke Ellington's concert last Sunday and I learned that you were under the weather.  Arthur told me you were making good recovery, and I'm very happy at that.
           
Since I'm leaving tomorrow for St. Martin's I thought I'd drop you a line, because I know it's best you get a good rest at this time.
