Then a [[?]] voice screaming O Sole [[?]]! He couldnt help thinking how much it sounded like Mr. Howler, the man who called out the train at the Station, then a man came into the room. He was of medium [[crossed out]] of [[/crossed out]] height, Bitsy imagined he must have been about forty. He had long flowing black hair and a fuzzy black beard. His eyes were peircing, but there was a twinkle at the corners. He wore a bent [[?]] [[?]] and a little blue hat. He carried in his hands a large mallet and a chisel. Bitsy watched him with intent.
