To Eddie give my fullest sympathy in the loss of his nephew. One damn thing after another isn't it? For everyones sake take care of yourself.

When I'll come back is not definite. I must get some heat into these old bones so think I'll spend a month or more in the south, probably Phoenix. I'll write you from there for I should be leaving here at the end of this month. Too chilly.

Thanks again for your wonderful letter and the diagram. Most thoughtful of you, and I appreciate it a great lot. As for Mr. Richardson of Detroit, I dare say he is not alone in his silences. But we had a good show, Dorothy, in that 15, and I thank you here for the role you played in making it possible to step out of the fog the Parsons gang had wrapped around me for their use and convenience. This Janis thing is another surprise, and makes their role all the more obvious. But now that the ice is broken, you will see an interesting act or effort. Newman and the others will more toward Janis, the think already started with Barney's espousal of Jack whose work he holds in total contempt ideologically. In fact I heard Newman say that he would try soon to bring Betty and Sidney together and organize them, for some kind of grandios propaganda machine for the display of his concept of himself as Jaweh, (the latter words are mine) I presume. Does it remind you of the time he tried the same deal with you and Betty?

What a letter. Guess I just found it damn pleasant to talk to you and this was the excuse. But I'll break it off with best wishes and look forward to seeing you in the not to far future.

Yours,

Clyff
