Dear Dorothy:
I was out of town yesterday so did not get to read your note until last night. I am still, however, at loss for a reply. I would deny before the world that you are stupid. Equally would I deny that you are deaf. Which makes your request for clarification difficult to fill, all things considered.
Perhaps I should just apologize for being so outspoken and abrupt. - And for temporizing ---. I am certain that you can fill in the gaps that brought the explosion to such a heat. Someday perhaps I will learn the futility of fighting the machines, and protesting to those who serve them.
With all best wishes
Clyff.
