Dear Betty, 

Your note caught me in the midst of packing for I am leaving New York next week for a vacation in the north-west. I appreciate your consideration, but I have had such an excellent and productive winter that I must do nothing that might break the spirit and flow of the work. Should I return in the fall, and discover an altered condition, I would give your request consideration.
