"DO NOT WEEP FOR ME, BELOVED ONES:
DO NOT WEEP FOR ME."

A little while, not long ago
My soul was blind, I could not see
A little while, not long ago
My pain was great, my future low
I had no strength, I could not stand
I was but a stranger in an unknown land.

But do not weep for me beloved ones
Do not weep for me.
Suddenly,
I took a voyage on a ship
Across a sea of time.
As I approached that distant shore
I saw some relatives of mine
That I had not seen before

I was greeted by my grandmother
Sarah Palts was her name.
There was my uncle Cassele Goss
Also there was my dear father Bernard
My stepfather Charlie B. also came
And also my aunt Superi
And my brother Bernie Jr.
All were there in all their glory.

To will come me in the Master's name
Into the heavenly door
My father, Bernard, opened wide his arms.
To me and said, "Welcome my dear daughter.
Come, come and greet the Master
He's been expecting you."

I raised my eyes and looked up.
Suddenly, I was consumed by a love
That I had never felt before
With my hands crossed I
Kneeled before the golden door.

I humbly bowed before his Grace
And stole a glance at his face
Then the blessed Master
Motioned me to break bread with him.

How could I ask for more.
Then as we sat with my hand
Clasped in the Master's hand
The tears rushed from my eyes
And I cried, "Oh Heavenly Lord,
My dear Jesus, most gracious one on high
How long have you been with me?
How long have you been nigh?"
